Stroger County Hospital Nursery Layettes

Various items are needed for the layettes that the Stroger County Hospital Women's Auxiliary puts together for newborns. Knitted or crocheted afghans, bootees, or caps, flannel receiving blankets, kimonos, and small stuffed animals make up the layettes.

The afghans may be made out of any kind of yarn as long as it can be machine washed and dried. They may be any color and follow any pattern of your choice. Afghans may be square or rectangular; the dimensions should be anywhere between 32 inches and 36 inches.
