Then...

St. Paul Community Church was established in 1865 as St. Paul Evangelical Church to serve the German-speaking families in the area which became the Village of Homewood.

In 1932, St. Paul Evangelical joined with the United Church of Homewood to form St. Paul Community Church.

The present sanctuary was dedicated in 1957.

St. Paul Community Church is affiliated with the United Church of Christ and the International Council of Community Churches.

St. Paul Community Church, located in the center of the Village of Homewood, is committed to the teachings of Jesus Christ and spreading his Gospel through Christian education, active community service and meaningful fellowship.
